Sharron Lynn Ball, 73, of State Road died February 20, 2025 at Woltz Hospice Home after an extended illness.  Sharron was born April 8, 1951 in Elkin to Vernon and ReElla Ball.  She graduated from Elkin High School and attended Surry Community College and was employed  at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in the Labor and Delivery Department for thirty two years.

A memorial service will be held at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Sunday March 2, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.  conducted by Rev. Dustin Ball and      Rev. Dylan Cook.

Sharron is survived by  two brothers, Stephen Ball and Allen Bennett ,  one nephew Sam Jones.  Many cousins and special friends Rickey Darnell, Emily Ireland and Allen Bennett.

The family would thank the entire staff at Pruitt Health Care for their wonderful care and friendship.

The family suggests that any memorials be directed to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd,  Dobson, NC 27017 or Pruitt Health Care, 560 Johnson Ridge Road, Elkin, NC  28621  or Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Youth Department, 1432 US Hwy 21, State Road, NC 28642  for summer camp.
