Leon Aaron Hinson's Obituary
Mr. Leon A. Hinson, 89 formerly of State Road, NC died Friday morning, September 14, 2018 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.
Mr. Hinson was born July 3, 1929 to Dallas E. and Kate Collins Hinson. He was a retired self employed painter. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Randy Hinson (Sena) of Elkin, two granddaughters; Whitney Jordan (Dale) of Union Grove, NC and Allie Hinson of Greenville, SC. Three sisters : Jane Merritt of State Road, Blenda Wagoner of Thurmond, Dorla Wagoner of Elkin and a special niece, Melba Nance of State Road.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 1:00p.m. in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family suggests that any memorials be directed to Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017 or to Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
John Kennedy funeral director is assisting the Hinson family with funeral arrangements.
