Dana Michelle Kennedy, born on October 9th, 1966, at Davie County Hospital to Lloyd Glenn Kennedy and Wanda Kennedy, passed away at the age of 57. She attended North Forsyth High School and dedicated 27 years of her life to nursing, specializing in both ICU and Home Healthcare. Dana, a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, was also the family's culinary expert, cherishing the role of preserving and passing down family recipes. Her interests included baking, cooking, and watching culinary shows, and she particularly enjoyed the beach and indulging in beauty treatments like getting her hair and nails done. Known for her caring nature, Dana extended her love to both people and animals, rescuing and spoiling numerous pets throughout her lifetime. Despite differing characters, she shared a close bond with her sister.

Dana was preceded in passing by her parents and stepfather, Richard Cross. She is survived by her two sons, Justin Kennedy (Jessica) and Phillip Sapp, as well as her sister, Gail Taylor (Joey). Additionally, Dana is survived by her grandchildren Emma, Cayden, and Riley Kennedy, her niece Savannah Taylor, and her grand-niece Aubree Pham.

A commemoration of life for the family will take place at a later time.
